“Brain Smart / Body Wise / Mind Awake”
GGI4Kids (Project Based) Learning Labs
Attention is getting a lot of attention these days. Recent “Learning & the Brain” research conferences highlight the rise in “attention allocation” issues plaguing children from the U.S. to Australia. In complex and budget-tight times, medication is often seen as the efficient and only way to address the challenge.
Yet kids have a lot on their minds today: Our “high stim”/ standardize testing school culture demands a lot of growing brains while offering little in the way of engaged or embodied opportunities to “learn by doing” a.k.a. creative problem-solve. As Sir Ken Robinson points out in a recent RSA talk on educational reform, ‘no wonder children don’t want to pay attention.’
Our Vision? We developed GGI4Kids to push education reform forward. We marry Neuroscience, Art/Design, Gaming and Mindful awareness practices in a brain sparking “learning pod” that tap each child’s “Innovator’s DNA.” Our mobile “collaboratorium” labs offer the perfect “mesh” of rewarding cognitive, emotional, perceptual (aesthetic) and social skill building and experience!*
Our Content? We introduce children to core concepts of neuroscience and neuroaesthetic research enhanced by “works of wonder” from the worlds of art and design. (We are passionate advocators of STEM to STEAM learning.)

Our Goal? Partner with parents, teachers and school administrators to provide top notch “brain smart / body wise/ mind awake” learning opportunities that are emotionally fun, intellectually engaging and failure/reward savvy.
Our Aim? GGI4Kids products and services are grounded on three core principles:
1. The brain is the name of the game!
2. Learning involves both DIY (do it yourself) and Collaborative Design Thinking, a.k.a. creative problem finding & problem solving activating spatial intelligence!
3. Multi-sensory, “mindfulness” practice trains attention, channels sensation and reframes emotion.
*We follow the core concepts defined by the Society for Neuroscience.
*We are pleased to partner with the Dana Foundation to bring you Brain Awareness Week 2012
